Shopping Aruban-style is a true island experience.

Mall in OranjestadFrom fine boutiques to fun marketplaces, Aruba's best shopping can be found in the downtown area of Oranjestad, along with satellite branches of these stores in the larger hotels. Quality merchandise from all over the world, particularly Latin America and Europe, attracts many shoppers looking for interesting items and bargains.

Any shopping excursion in Aruba must include Seaport Village. Located on the edge of the capital, this waterfront area is home to Aruba's largest indoor shopping center. The Seaport Mall not only features boutiques such as Gucci, Cartier and other top designer names, it also offers shoppers a chance to try their luck at the Crystal Casino.
MarketsThe village is also a festive outdoor maze of tables and stalls that provides an ideal spot for bargain hunting or finding that perfect Aruban souvenir to take home. Many of the stores in Aruba feature local handicrafts, along with imported merchandise. Perfume, liquor, linens, jewelry, watches, cameras and designer fashions, are just some of the luxury items available.

Boutiques are typically open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, although most close for lunch between noon and 2 p.m. Stores in the malls and shopping centers are open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some shops open on Sundays and holidays when the cruise ships are in port.
